01 / THE CHALLENGE
A small screen. A deliberate design.
An in-house collection by Blanche exploring what a watch face can communicate at a glance. We designed eleven original faces and carried the designs into native Monkey C development, with layouts for MIP and AMOLED displays. Five faces reached private beta: STRATA, ORBITAL, VECTOR, DAYMARK and LUMA. The work combines visual identity, configurable layouts, simulator checks and store artwork.

Distinct identities
Each face has its own typography, composition and color editions within a considered collection.

Full, Focus and Essentials layouts reflow when optional data is hidden.

Monkey C resources and sensor-data handling account for display families and low-power views.

Simulator checks, settings verification and signed packages support the five private-beta releases; hardware acceptance remains a separate step.
